Teen Art Classes
Expand Your Skills!
All classes meet at the Loveland Museum and all supplies are provided, unless otherwise noted. Classes are suitable for most skill levels.
Ages 12 – 18, 2– 4 pm
$25 ($20 Museum members)
Registration begins April 2nd at 10:00 am.
Wednesday, June 19
Make abstract trees using high flow fluid paint in a splash and drip method. This process of reduction painting will develop a beautiful effect making the trees pop right off the paper.

Bold and Bright
Wednesday, July 17
As we look at bold and bright Andy Warhol work for inspiration, have fun on a large canvas and experiment with acrylic paints. We will also take a quick look at the Museum’s Pop Art exhibit for inspiration. Instructor: Mary Giacomini
Steampunk Pop Art
Wednesday, August 7
After a look at the Museum’s Pop Art exhibit, be inspired to enter an artistic world of machines, gears, and tech! Our collaged art will blend a love for handmade craftsmanship from the past with the brilliance of the future. Instructor: Pat Saunders-White
Loveland Museum Class Registration Policy
- We depend on your enrollment for a successful class. Please plan your schedule carefully to avoid cancellations.
- If you must cancel your registration, please call (970) 962-2410 at least five (5) business days before the class. You may choose to transfer to another class, retain a credit for a future class, or receive your money back. Cancellations made after the above deadline are creditable or refundable at 50% of the registration fee. If you do not call to cancel or do not show up for a class, your registration fee will be forfeited. For refunds, please allow for two weeks for checks to be processed.
- No cash refunds.
- The Museum has the right to cancel classes. If class enrollment is below the minimum requirement, a class may be cancelled. Class cancellation decisions are made three (3) days prior to class.
