Special Adult Art Classes

Registration begins April 2nd at 10:00 am.

Ages 16 and older
Fee: $50 ($40 Museum Members)

Classes will meet at the locations indicated in the description. Students are responsible for their own transportation. All supplies are provided, unless otherwise noted. Classes are suitable for most skill levels.


Benson Sculpture Park

Tuesday, May 28, 10 am – 1 pm
Learn how to capture your inspiration from all the art, gardens, and water nearby with watercolor paint. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on, water, lunch, hat, and sunscreen. Mary will bring the art supplies. Class will meet by the covered round gazebo.

Viestenz-Smith Park

Thursday, August 1, 10 am – 1 pm
The newly renovated Viestenz-Smith Park, just a few miles up the Big Thompson Canyon, will serve as our inspiration. Some tables may be available or bring your own chair or blanket, a hat, water, sunscreen, insect repellant, and lunch. All watercolor supplies will be provided.

Loveland Museum Class Registration Policy

  • We depend on your enrollment for a successful class. Please plan your schedule carefully to avoid cancellations.
  • If you must cancel your registration, please call (970) 962-2410 at least five (5) business days before the class. You may choose to transfer to another class, retain a credit for a future class, or receive your money back. Cancellations made after the above deadline are creditable or refundable at 50% of the registration fee. If you do not call to cancel or do not show up for a class, your registration fee will be forfeited. For refunds, please allow for two weeks for checks to be processed.
  • No cash refunds.
  • The Museum has the right to cancel classes. If class enrollment is below the minimum requirement, a class may be cancelled. Class cancellation decisions are made three (3) days prior to class.
