Family Crest Workshop – WORKSHOP CANCELLED

Thursday, October 10,  11 am – 2 pm

Amelia Furman

Fee: $30 ($24 Members)

A family-friendly mixed media workshop where families can create their own “family crest” mixed media art piece. Children and adults can explore basic collage and painting techniques while making a great wall-hanging. All supplies will be provided. This is a great workshop for ages 8 and older with a parent or grandparent. One person under the age of 16 free with paying adult. Please bring a lunch and any photos you would like to use in your collage.

Van Gogh Painting Workshop

Tuesday, October 22, 9 am – 4 pm

Dena Peterson

Fee: $75 ($60 Members)

Colorado artist and former Loveland resident, Dena Peterson, was one of 125 international artists selected from 5,000 submissions to recreate scenes in oil paint based on Van Gogh’s paintings for the movie Loving Vincent. Dena enjoys inspiring others through teaching them how to paint. In this workshop, she will share what she learned as she studied and painted scenes for the film in the style of Vincent Van Gogh. A supply list will be available upon online registration. There will be a 60 minute lunch break.

Envelope Journals

Saturday, February 1, 11 am– 3 pm

Amelia Furman and Tracie Jenkins

Fee: $30 ($24 Members)

Assemble your own hand-made envelope journal as you explore a variety of techniques to collage the cover and pages. Each page of this journal is a separate envelope that holds a tag. The tags can be used for your favorite quotes, recipes, memories or whatever you dream up! You will leave with a complete book and the skills needed to make more at home. Bring any items you’d like to use, we will supply the rest! Please bring a sack lunch with you to class.

Loveland Museum Class Registration Policy

  • We depend on your enrollment for a successful class. Please plan your schedule carefully to avoid cancellations.
  • If you must cancel your registration, please call (970) 962-2410 at least five (5) business days before the class. You may choose to transfer to another class, retain a credit for a future class, or receive your money back. Cancellations made after the above deadline are creditable or refundable at 50% of the registration fee. If you do not call to cancel or do not show up for a class, your registration fee will be forfeited. For refunds, please allow for two weeks for checks to be processed.
  • No cash refunds.
  • The Museum has the right to cancel classes. If class enrollment is below the minimum requirement, a class may be cancelled. Class cancellation decisions are made three (3) days prior to class.
