This exhibition of prints and photographs reflect Warhol’sembrace of a wide variety of media through which the categorization of high art was further assessed, and expanded Warhol’s hallmark exploration within the realms of pop art, consumer culture, and the cult of celebrity.

All artwork in Warhol Prints and Photographs is on loan from the Gregory Allicar Museum of Art at Colorado State University. Loveland Museum gratefully acknowledges the support and assistance of Dr. Lynn Boland, Director and Chief Curator and Suzanne Hale, Registrar/ Collections Manager in making this exhibition possible.

Exhibit Programming

Warhol, Wine, and Wisdom
Friday, July 12, 6 pm – 8 pm
Sample wines selected to pair with artwork in the exhibition and enjoy a gallery talk with Dr. Lynn Boland, Director and Chief Curator, Gregory Allicar Museum of Art at Colorado State University. Gallery talk will begin at 6:30 pm.
